General and Booking Conditions – Holiday Home Woudzicht

1. Identity of landlord

2. Booking and confirmation
- A booking is only considered final once you receive confirmation from us or from the booking platform on which you booked.
- For direct bookings (e.g. via e-mail), the booking only becomes final after receipt of the deposit (see point 3.2).
- By booking you agree to these terms and conditions.
- The holiday home may only be used for recreational purposes.
- The property may not be used for parties, gatherings, commercial activities, or other non-recreational purposes.
3. Payment
3.1 Booking via a booking platform
- Payment is made through the platform on which you booked.
- Transactions are made through the platform, according to their general payment terms and conditions.
- Holiday home Woudzicht only receives payment after (or shortly after) check-in.
- Any additional costs (such as cleaning costs or deposit) will be arranged through the platform, unless otherwise agreed.
3.2 Direct booking (via email or your own website)
- Deposit: 30% of the rental amount within 5 days of receipt of the provisional confirmation.
- Final payment: No later than 30 days before arrival.
- If you book within 30 days of arrival, you'll pay the full amount immediately.
- Payment is made by bank transfer (you will receive details in the confirmation email).
4. Arrival and departure
- Arrival: from 3:00 PM
- Departure: no later than 10:00 am
- Other times only upon prior consultation.
- Please leave the house tidy and clean upon departure.
5. Number of persons and use
- Maximum 4 persons (including children).
- Visits from third parties are only permitted after consultation.
- Smoking is not allowed in the house.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The house is intended for recreational use only.
6. Borg
- A deposit of €150 applies to each stay, regardless of the channel through which you booked.
- The deposit will be refunded no later than 7 days after departure, provided the property has been left in good condition and there is no damage, missing items or excessive dirt.
- The deposit is handled through the booking platform or via direct payment, depending on the booking channel.
7. Damage and/or loss
- The tenant is liable for any damage to the property, its contents or the grounds, as well as for any loss of inventory, that occurs during the stay.
- Damage or loss must be reported immediately.
- Any costs for repair or replacement may be deducted from the deposit or charged separately.
- Holiday home Woudzicht is not liable for accidents, theft, loss or damage to personal property.
8. Force majeure / cancellation by the landlord
- In the event of force majeure (such as fire, storm damage, technical defects, government measures or other unforeseen circumstances), we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
- In that case, the amount already paid will be fully refunded.
- Further liability is excluded.
9. Privacy
- Personal data will only be used to process the booking and – if applicable – for communication such as a newsletter.
- The Woudzicht website may use cookies to improve your user experience.
- Your data will not be shared with third parties without your permission.
10. Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Dutch law. In the event of disputes, the court in the landlord's district has jurisdiction.
